In order to have a real and effective faith, we must all, at some point, own our faith. This Bible Study looks at two individuals who had an encounter that differed from their culture that led to a real faith in God. In this study we will explore the question: Does my faith come from being raised the way I was raised, or does it come from a real encounter with Jesus?

Abortion is a hot political topic in our society. However, abortion is not primarily a political issue. It is a life issue as well as a spiritual issue. Abortion directly and indirectly effects many teens. This is why it is important to know what the Bible says about life and how Christians are called to respond to those who are thinking about having abortions, those who are promoting someone else to have an abortion, and those who have already had an abortion.
